By using the Price a Cab web-site you are stating that you have read and understood all of the following Terms & Conditions and by continuing you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions which may be modified and posted on our web-site from time to time. You are also entering in to a contract between the Trade Partner and the Customer. Where two or more people are included in the same booking, the person making the booking (the lead name) shall be deemed to have done so on behalf of both or all members of the party and he or she accepts these terms and the terms and conditions of the Taxi Company/Driver on behalf of himself or herself and each member of the party.
Price a Cabs use of the word cab or Taxi throughout this site is generic and includes Hackney and Private Hire drivers and vehicles similarly.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this web-site to make an enquiry or a booking.
Price a Cab is not a Taxi company, we offer via our web-site the opportunity to choose a Taxi company who has bid for your job. Once you have placed a booking and paid your deposit you are able to deal direct with the Taxi Company/Driver and them with the Customer. We insist that you make final arrangements for the journey with the Driver. This is to ensure a smooth journey.
Please make sure that all relevant information is given at time of booking i.e. if you have a wheelchair, child seats needed etc. We would need to know if the wheelchair is folding, manual or electric. Price a Cab cannot be responsible for bookings where the wrong information or not enough information has been provided. The EU directive 2003/20/EC states that children must use an appropriate child seat until they reach 12 years of age or until they reach a height of 135cm. However there is an exemption for licensed Taxis. If no child seat is available, children of three years of age and over may travel as long as they wear an adult seat belt. Children under three years of age may be transported without a safety restraint as long as they travel in the rear of the vehicle.
Price a Cab cannot be held responsible for any delays in the journey time, the Customer must discuss with the Taxi Company/Driver and make allowances for traffic, and breakdowns etc as you would with all journeys. The Taxi Company/Driver will be able to offer advice on this.
The price offered to the customer for any given trip includes a 10% non-refundable booking fee to cover card payment and administration costs.
Cancellation or Alteration of Booking
If for any reason you need to alter the time or date of your journey you must make contact immediately with the Taxi Company/Driver and providing there is more than 48 hours notice they may be able to accommodate the change without any penalty. If there is a problem with the Taxi Company/Driver accommodating the new time please contact us immediately using the urgent email address. If less than 48 hours notice is given it may involve losing your deposit and having to make a new booking.
If for any reason you need to cancel the booking, if more than a week's notice is given you will only lose your 10% booking fee. If less than a week's notice is given you will lose your deposit. This is necessary as other bookings may have been turned down by the Taxi Company/Driver and it would be difficult to fill this gap at short notice.

Unless indicated all material on this web-site belongs to Price a Cab, this includes all text, logos, concept and design. You are welcome to print hard copies of material for your personal non-commercial use. All other copying either electronic, hard copy or other formats is prohibited without express permission in writing from Price a Cab.
