Customer Sign-Up & Getting Online Quotes

Just click on Get an online quote now button or Customer Sign-Up button. (If you are an existing customer then just re-enter your username and password).

Register your username and choose a password (First time only).

Fill in contact information form (First time only).

Click on Request a Quote

Enter your trip details making sure that you give all relevant information as requested on the form. When you click on the Submit button Price a Cab emails your trip summery to our licensed Taxis in your area so that they can give you a quote. Quotes can start coming in within the hour but the longer you can wait before choosing one the better choice you will have. You can see your quotes by logging back into the site using your username and password.

To book, click on the selected quote, and then to secure your booking you will be required to pay either 30% deposit (includes processing fee) or the full amount by credit/debit card, whichever is convenient.

On payment you will receive a confirmation email containing the drivers contact information. The Taxi company/driver will receive confirmation and your full contact details also. They will contact you usually within 24 hours to verify booking and to make any final arrangements for the journey.

You will receive an email approx 24 hours before your journey as a reminder.

If you have paid only the deposit at the time of booking you will be required to pay the balance in cash at the start of your trip to the driver. If a return trip has been booked you only have to pay 50% of the balance on the outbound trip the final balance on the return.

Trade Sign-Up and Start Bidding

Just click on Trade Sign-Up button or Sign-up and start bidding button. (If you are an existing Trade Partner then just re-enter your username and password).

Register your username and choose a password (First time only).

Fill in contact information form (First time only).

At the bottom of the form please make sure you enter the Postcode of the area that you wish to work from as you will receive enquiries within a radius of this Postcode and a Mobile phone number that we can use to contact you on to receive work (Quote enquiries and work can be sent by Email, voice and sometimes text whichever is appropriate for the efficiency of the enquiry).

It is essential that you supply either an operator's License or your Hackney Vehicle License by either scanning it into your computer and using the link to upload it to us or to send it via the Post. We cannot activate your account to receive quote enquiries until we have seen and verified your License, This is a requirement of the law.

Once this has been completed you can receive your quote requests via email on your computer or work phone and can manage your enquires by logging in and navigating the Website Dashboard.

Please Note that the website has been written to work on Mobile Phone Internet for your convenience.

Price a Cab can issue you with your own Price a Cab email e.g. xyz@priceacab.com and give you instructions on how to receive these on your mobile phone if available.

We would recommend returning your quotes as soon as possible within 24 hours.

You will be notified of any quotes that you have been successful with by email and can Log in to the website at any time to review your bookings and check the progress of any enquiry.

Once a booking is confirmed we request that you make contact with the customer within 24 hours to check all details and give any advice on timings etc. If there is a long gap between the booking date and the journey date it would be wise to ring up the day before a booking just to confirm it. We will have sent the customer an email to remind them as well.
